Behold this gorgeous cherry tree off Sims Road in Wollaston! Cherries can reach 20-50 feet tall and 20-50 feet wide. Best not to plant on crowded sidewalks or under power lines. This one is a city tree, planted in a cul-de-sac, so it has plenty of room to spread out.

The name “dogwood” originated in England in 1548. Cornus Florida is a popular variety in New England, but grows all down the East Coast.
One of two London planetrees in front of Wollaston Library. This pair gets our #treeoftheweekquincy award, due to their ability to withstand the urban environment. And check out that awesome bark!
