May 30th, Plant Trees at Lincoln Hancock Community School!

Please join us for a free "How to Plant a Tree" event on Saturday May 30 from 9:30 am to 11:00 am rain or shine. Meet at Lincoln-Hancock Elementary School (300 Granite St, Quincy) to help plant trees and learn ways to maintain and nurture them. QTA has purchased these trees through donations, and the Quincy Department of Natural Resources has supplied tree watering bags.

The QTA will lead a group of volunteers in taking responsibility for watering and maintaining these young trees at the school. Community Service time is available for high school students with the opportunity to sign up for tree watering for additional hours.

A QTA member will also lead a short walk of trees and other plantings at the site. Ask your questions and learn all about trees from local experts.
